Announcing ParallelDots’ ISO 27001:2013 Certification

At ParallelDots, securing our customer’s information has always been of paramount importance to us. Therefore, it is with immense pleasure that we announce that we are now ISO 2700:2013 certified.

The ISO 27001 standard is a globally recognized information security standard developed and maintained by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). ISO is an independent, non-governmental organization that develops “market-relevant international standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.”

How ParallelDots achieved its ISO 27001:2013 certification?

To achieve the certification, ParallelDots’ security compliance was validated by an independent audit firm after demonstrating an ongoing and systematic approach to managing and protecting company and customer data.

To achieve this certification, we first created an ISO-compliant ISMS. We established security baselines and developed and implemented a risk management process. In addition, we provided training and awareness programs for our staff and conducted regular internal audits to measure the effectiveness of our controls.
